If you've purchased one of our electric bikes equipped with built-in lights (such as the Urban AL e or the Hybrid AL e Trail), you'll need to activate the lights using the motor controller (Trio Controller) located on the left side of the handlebar.

To turn on the lights, press and hold the up button on the controller. This will switch on the rear light automatically. The front light, however, will remain off by default—you'll need to press the button on the back of the light to cycle through its modes. The rear light operates in a single mode, while the front light has four available settings:

  • Off

  • Solid Bright

  • Solid Medium

  • Solid Low

  • Flashing
