If you're placing an order using finance, it all starts on our website. Once you've popped in your shipping details and completed your order information, you'll be redirected to the V12 site to fill out the finance questionnaire. Once that's done, you'll be sent back to our website to finish up.
The whole process takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and you'll get a decision straight away once you've completed the application. When you apply for finance, the lender will carry out a credit check to have a proper look at your financial history and make sure you're a suitable candidate for finance. This means the search will show up on your credit report. V12 do have the following basic requirements for eligibility. You’ll be:
- 18 years or older
- A UK resident for 3 years or more/permanent UK resident
- Able to make regular repayments by Direct Debit In regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week), including self-employment or permanent residence with your spouse/partner who’s in regular employment.
- Have a debit card in your name registered to your address and have a bank or building society current account.
- Other conditions may apply, and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.
If your application is successful V12 Finance will only initially debit the deposit amount (if specified), and payments will then commence by direct debit on the dates agreed upon in your direct debit agreement. The first instalment will not be debited until after the bike has been shipped. If your application is unsuccessful with V12, we will cancel your order, and V12 Finance will not debit your card for the amount of the deposit that you have specified.
If you’ve any questions or need a hand understanding the process, feel free to give us a shout – we’re here to help!
