An e-bike version of our best-selling and ever-popular CGR multi-surface range. The CGR acronym stands for commute/gravel/road, indicating how versatile this electric all-rounder is.
Features
- Material – Constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminium with full carbon forks, the frame is lightweight yet robust enough to handle the most challenging terrain. Carbon forks damp vibrations from rough surfaces to keep the steering light, precise, and predictable.
- Geometry – The endurance-based geometry provides a more relaxed upright riding position, improving stability and handling when tackling rough and rutted terrain. Dropped seat stays improve vertical compliance to soak up lumps and bumps.
- Control Button – A top-tube-mounted control button allows the rider to cycle through assistance levels and view the battery charge at a glance.
- Gearing – Available with a range of Shimano double chainring gear systems. Primarily intended for road use, though the lower gears come in useful when you crave some multi-surface adventure.
- Tyre Clearance – The CGR AL e is compatible with 700c x 45mm and 650b x 47mm rubber, depending on your terrain preference.
- Luggage – Built-in mounts for a rear pannier rack enable you to carry essentials for the daily commute or when exploring off-road.
- Handlebars —Standard road drop bars provide multiple hand positions for comfort and efficiency when climbing, descending, and on the flats.
- Mudguard Compatibility – Built-in mudguard mounts allow you to fit full-coverage mudguards to fend off the worst of the mud and dirt. This makes the CGR AL e ideally suited to all-season use and the more adventurous all-weather commute.
