If you’re lucky enough to be passing through the stunning Ribble Valley, why not swing by our flagship Ribble Cycles showroom in Clitheroe for a proper go on one of our bikes? It’s a cracking opportunity to try before you buy – whether you're eyeing up your next adventure steed, looking to feel the boost of one of our e-bikes, or curious about our fastest aero bike ever.

We’ve got a dedicated test fleet featuring both conventional and electric bikes across a range of sizes – from versatile CGRs and gravel-ready machines to our superlight electric models and top-end Ultra SLR. You’ll get 30 minutes in the saddle to test one of our world-class performance bikes for yourself – completely free of charge.

What to Expect on the Day

Test rides are by pre-booked appointment only and are available during daylight hours, on any day the Clitheroe showroom is open.

On arrival, we’ll ask you to complete a short test ride form using one of our in-store iPads. We’ll also take a small non-refundable deposit of 60p using your card. For security, we’ll hold onto your payment card and a matching form of ID for the duration of the ride – both stored safely in a secure lock box, to which only you’ll have the key. That box will also have the showroom’s contact number in case you need us during your ride.

Before setting off, we’ll sanitise all the contact points on the bike – bars, levers, buttons, and saddle – so you can enjoy a clean, safe ride. We’ve got helmets and hi-viz vests available if needed, but we recommend bringing your own where possible. Please also bring your mobile phone with you during the test ride, just in case of emergency.
