Once you know your height and inside leg measurements, it’s time to match them to your bike of choice. The good news is we’ve done the hard work for you – every Ribble bike listed online includes a recommended height range for each frame size. These ranges are based not only on factory data but also on real-world measurements from in-store fittings and test rides.
Between two sizes?
If you fall between two frame sizes, the general rule is to go for the smaller one. Why? Because it’s easier to fine-tune a slightly smaller bike than to make a larger one fit.
Adjustments that can help include:
Extending the stem length
Adjusting crank length
Raising the saddle height
With a bike that’s too big, there’s only so far you can lower the seat post, and fitting a very short stem can make handling overly twitchy.
Try it in-store
If you’re near one of our showrooms, we recommend visiting in person. Our team can measure you up using a sizing jig, replicate frame dimensions, and adjust the setup until the fit feels right.
Live video calls
Not local to a showroom? You can still get expert advice at home. Our Live In-Store Expert service connects you with a Ribble specialist via one-way video call. You’ll see us, we’ll hear you, and we can guide you on sizing, components, and even demo the bikes – all from your own living room.
To connect with a Live Expert, just visit our website and click the video call button in the bottom right corner of your screen.
