HOW DO I BUY A BIKE THROUGH A CYCLE TO WORK SCHEME?
First things first, have a word with your HR department to find out which Cycle to Work scheme your workplace is signed up with.
GET YOUR VOUCHER
- Pick out your bike and add it to your basket.
- In the basket, click on ‘Get a Cycle to Work quote’—this will be valid for 28 days.
- Print off or save the quote and pass it on to your employer’s Cycle to Work administrator.
- Sit tight and wait for your voucher to arrive.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once your voucher arrives, log in or create an account before heading to the checkout. Add your bike to your basket, go to checkout, and when you reach the payment screen, select the right Cycle to Work Provider or Cyclescheme option to complete your order.
If you’re using Cyclescheme, you’ll need to enter your certificate and redemption code to finalise your order. If your voucher is from another provider, you can either upload it straight away or later via the My Account section on our website. Just make sure you do this within 28 days, as we’ll need the voucher before we can release your order and set a build date.
A quick heads-up: placing an order online doesn’t automatically reserve your bike. Your order will stay as ‘Pending’ until we’ve received full payment, which in this case means your Cycle to Work voucher.
- Once we’ve got your valid voucher, your bike will be secured, built, and delivered as normal. Keep in mind that, depending on the terms of your Cycle to Work agreement, your salary sacrifice deductions might start before your bike even arrives.
If you’ve got any questions, it’s always best to check with your Cycle to Work provider for the finer details.
