What maintenance does my Ribble bike need?

A little regular maintenance goes a long way in keeping your Ribble running smoothly and efficiently.

Routine checks you can do at home

  • Drivetrain care: Keep your chain, cassette, and chainrings clean and lightly oiled. This reduces wear and helps your bike shift smoothly.

  • Tyre pressure: Check before every ride to improve grip, comfort, and efficiency.

  • Brakes: Inspect pads and give the levers a squeeze to check for proper bite.

Professional servicing

If you’re not confident with tools, we recommend a professional service every 6 months (or sooner if you ride heavily in wet or gritty conditions). A mechanic can:

  • Check gear indexing and brake performance

  • Inspect bearings and cables

  • Spot any wear before it becomes an issue

Regular care keeps your bike reliable, efficient, and ready to ride whenever you are.
