Before your first ride, we recommend checking the alignment of your rear derailleur. Although we take every precaution, bikes can occasionally sustain minor transit damage that could lead to issues if not inspected beforehand
To do this, stand behind the bike and observe whether the pulley wheels on the derailleur align with the cassette sprocket directly above (see image). If you notice misalignment, it may indicate that the hanger is slightly bent. Check for a noticeable slant of the hanger towards the wheel.
