We get it – sometimes plans change. Here’s what you can and can’t update after placing your order, and when those changes are possible.
What you can change
You can usually request:
A different size or colour (if available in the configurator)
Spec updates from the configurator
Switching to a different bike (Stripe or Cycle to Work only; new bike must be within voucher value)
Adding extra items (Stripe only)
Updating your phone number
Changing your delivery address (not available on V12 Finance orders)
Note on pricing
No price change – your order remains the same
Price change – only possible if paid via Stripe or V12 Finance (subject to V12 approval)
What you can’t change
Some requests can’t be made after checkout:
Specs or parts not listed in the configurator
Components we don’t stock or support
Supplying your own parts or accessories
Billing or email address details
Non-standard sizing or custom builds
When you can make changes
It depends on where your order is in the process:
Before production release – All eligible changes can be made free of charge
After picking but before build – Changes are still possible, but a £50 workshop handling fee applies
Once the build has started – Your order is locked in. To change anything, you’ll need to cancel and place a new order
Contact details updates
Phone number or delivery address can be updated any time before Pre-Delivery Inspection
V12 Finance orders – delivery address cannot be changed
