Overview

When you shop with Ribble, your purchase is protected by UK consumer law.
 This page explains how those rights work in practice and how they relate to certain products and schemes such as Custom Colour and Cycle to Work.


Your Right to Cancel

If you’ve bought online or by phone, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. This applies to standard products that haven’t been used or fitted.

Custom Colour and Bespoke Bikes

Custom Colour bikes are painted and finished specifically to your chosen design and specification. Because they’re built and finished uniquely for you, they’re classed as bespoke goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
 Bespoke products are excluded from the standard 14-day cancellation and change-of-mind return rights, as they cannot be resold or reused once production has started.

You still have full protection under Ribble’s warranty and quality standards, if a structural manufacturing defect is identified, we’ll resolve it in line with Warranty Policy.


Cycle to Work Orders

Orders placed through a Cycle to Work scheme are owned by your employer until the agreement is complete. Because of this ownership structure, Cycle to Work purchases are not eligible for change-of-mind cancellations or returns under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

If you believe there’s a technical or warranty issue with your Cycle to Work bike, we’ll work with you to resolve it in line with our Warranty Policy.

Ribble’s own policies, including the 30-Day Test Ride, 30-Day Parts & Accessories Returns, and warranty support work alongside your statutory rights to make resolving any issue as quick and straightforward as possible.
