Packing your bike for collection is straightforward. Follow these steps to keep it safe in transit:
Preparing the bike
Keep the wheels, seatpost, and saddle attached.
Remove the handlebars to fit the bike in the box:
Remove the top cap.
Loosen the two stem bolts.
Gently pull the bars upwards to release them from the fork steerer.
Wrap the handlebars in protective material (bubble wrap, cloth, or similar) and place them on either side of the head tube as shown in the guide image.
Protecting the frame
Add extra bubble wrap around the frame to prevent movement and scratches.
Placing in the box
Position the bike in the box so the front and rear wheels sit securely in the cardboard cutouts in each corner.
Remove and pack separately anything that wasn’t included when the bike was delivered, such as pedals, computer mounts, or other accessories.
Your bike is now ready for safe collection.
