1. To turn on the electric system, you short press the button and it will flash white. To switch off the system, you need to long press the button and the system will flash white then switch off.

2. To change the level of assistance, short press the button and the LED will blink, the light it blinks will indicate the current assistance mode, with white being no assistance, green being level one, orange level two and red level three. If you short press the button while it is indicating the level of assistance, this will change the assistance level. 

3. When the LED is showing a blue light, this is showing it is connecting to the Mahle Smart bike app, once it is connected to the app, it will indicate this by doing a short blue flash. If you receive a notification whilst your phone is connected to the bike, there will be a light blue flash from the button.

4. If the LED remains in pink, this means that your bike is in Safe mode, Contact your nearest showroom or our Customer service team to diagnose the issue.

If the LED blinks constant pink, this means there is an error in the system, Open your smartbike app and connect to the bike to see a detailed description of the error, then contact your nearest showroom or our customer service team for information of how to fix the error.
