How to change assistance levels on your MAHLE X35 eBike

Your MAHLE X35 system lets you switch between assistance levels easily, using either the frame controller or the handlebar controller.

Using the frame controller

1. Press the iWoc button once → the LED will flash to show your current assistance mode

2. While it’s flashing, press again to move up to the next assistance level

3. Repeat until you reach your desired level

4. Once selected, the LED will revert to a solid colour showing your battery charge level

Using the handlebar controller

• Button A (top button): Increases assistance level

  • Press once → LED flashes to show your current level

  • Press again while flashing to move up a level

• Button B (bottom button): Decreases assistance level

  • Each press moves you down to the next lower level until no assistance is active

This quick process lets you match the motor support to your terrain and effort — more power for climbs, less for flats, or none at all when you want to ride unassisted.
